Partners of NBLIP

The North Bay Local Immigration Partnership is created in partnership with organizations in North Bay area dedicated to Reconciliation and Relationship-Building between Newcomer Communities, Indigenous Communities, and Canada as a whole. Each partner organization plays a vital role in the development of the LIP.

To support the development and implementation of the City of North Bay and area’s immigration strategy, the North Bay Newcomer Network (NNN), now known as the North Bay Local Immigration Partnership, was created in part through the work of The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development in 2005. NNN grew from a small group organizations in 2006 to a collaboration with 60+ community partners including:

  • Education sector

  • Provincial and Federal Government

  • Justice sector

  • Employers

  • Settlement Service Providers

  • Newcomers
